Admission to DonBosco Mat. Hr. Sec. School is restricted by certain policies of the management and by the conditions of age, ability and conduct of the candidate. Hence, applicants for admission may be given an oral / written test at the time of admission. The decision of the school authorities regarding the entrance test shall be final.

Admission are made in Pre-KG, LKG, UKG, classes and for standards I to IX and XI. For direct admission children should satisfy the age rule i.e., 2+ for nursery, 3+ for LKG, 4+ for UKG, 5+ for I Std., and so on. Students coming from unrecognized institution will not be admitted. Two passport size photos (recent), Photo copy of the BIRTH CERTIFICATE and Community Certificate, original copy of Transfer Certificate should be produced at the time of admission.

Procedure for LKG, includes a personal meeting with the child and parents to verify the certificates and to brief the rules and regulations of the school. An entrance test will be conducted in Tamil, English and Maths for the students seeking admission for UKG to Std IX and those who are selected on merit alone will be allowed to join the institution.

Application for admission should be made on the prescribed form by parents or guardian who will be responsible to the head of the school for the pupil’s conduct, punctuality , regular attendance, progress in school and payment of fees.

The Principal reserves the right of refusing admission to a pupil without ascribing any reason in it. He also reserves the right to discontinue, the studies of any pupil whose conduct and academic performance is not satisfactory.

Uniform should not bear any self designs on them. It should be well washed and ironed. Boys are not permitted to wear belts other than school belt. Boys from Std VI are expected to wear full pants. Girls from Std VII are expected to wear Salwar Kameez. Girls are expected to have double plaits and white ribbons with their uniforms on all days. Whenever a student is present at school for regular / special / revision class/ for any programme practice he / she must be in school uniform.
